Purpose Of Policy

The Neuron is committed to protecting your privacy as you use our service! We created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Website and the Platform.

This Policy covers how we collect, use, store, and share your information which on its own, or in combination with other information, may be used to identify you as an individual (“Personal Data”). This Policy has been updated to comply with the requirements the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). The provisions of our Terms of Service apply to this Policy as well. All references to “we”, “us”, “our”, or “The Neuron” refer to The Neuron Holdings, Inc., a Delaware corporation. All references to “you”, “your”, or “user” relate to all persons who use or access the Service, in their company’s capacity or in an individual capacity, including authorized users representing the company, its employees, or other persons using or accessing the Service. Further, you agree that this Privacy Policy and our Terms apply to your past use, if any, of the Service prior to the Effective Date. This Policy also describes our practices related to information of individuals with whom we communicate for marketing or promotional purposes but who may not otherwise register for the Platform (the “Marketing Recipients”). By using the Service and agreeing to this Policy, or by agreeing to this Policy as a Marketing Recipient, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy. If you or the company you represent or work for enter into a separate DSP Platform Services Agreement with The Neuron (the “Services Agreement”), this Policy shall form part of the Services Agreement. Capitalized terms used but not defined shall have the respective meanings given to them in the Terms.

Information we collect and how we use it

Required Information You Voluntarily Provide Us. You are not required to provide us with any Personal Data in order to browse the Website. However, to access the Platform, you will be required to create an Account, which will require you to provide us with certain Personal Data. To create an Account, you will need to provide The Neuron with your first and last name, company name, and your e-mail address. If you access the Platform pursuant to the Services Agreement, The Neuron may set up an Account on your behalf. Additionally, The Neuron may also ask for additional Personal Data, including your company’s address, your phone number, and your company’s registration number.

We also may collect and store communications that occur through the Service or outside of the Service between you and The Neuron. Further, now or in the future, we may allow you to provide us with access to additional information and data through integrations with third-party goods and services. We use this information for the purpose of providing you with the core aspects of the Platform and to provide you with information and updates about the Service, and for any other purposes with your consent. In addition, by accessing the Service with your Account, you agree to receive commercial and promotional emails from us. If you receive a commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by contacting us as described at the end of this Policy.

Personal Data We Collect from Marketing Recipients.

In addition to the Personal Data we collect from users of the Platform, we collect Personal Data from Marketing Recipients who are interested in learning more about our products and services. Such Personal Data consists of basic contact information such as the Marketing Recipient’s first and last name, email address, company name, and phone number. This Personal Data is collected by us when Marketing Recipients sign up for commercial emails from us via the Website. For Marketing Recipients who have not otherwise accessed the Platform using Accounts, we only use your Personal Data to send marketing and promotional communications relating to the Service, including updates on our products and services. If you receive a commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email.

Optional Information You Voluntarily Provide Us.

In addition to the required information that you provide to The Neuron by accessing the Platform using your Account, there are various pieces of information you can, or may in the future be able to or choose to provide through the Service, including through integrations with third party goods and services. We also may collect and store communications that occur through the Service between you and The Neuron, and communications that occur through the Service between users. These communications may contain your Personal Data. The various categories of information in this subsection is, or may be, considered Personal Data, and is used for the purpose of providing you with the Service’s functionality.

Cookies, Pixels, and other Tracking Technology.

Cookies and pixels are features of your web browser that allows websites to transfer bits of information to your computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie or pixel stored on your computer can be used to “remember” things like your password, your preferences, or that you have already registered. This allows us to speed up your future activities, saving the time you would normally spend entering information such as your password or registration. After you have created an Account, we use cookies to remember you as a user of the Service and to streamline the functionality of the Service. Cookies set by us are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by other parties are called “third party cookies”. The Neuron uses first party cookies that are only used to track your activity on the Service, and not on third party sites or services.

  • Google Analytics – Google Analytics is used by The Neuron for aggregate data to understand trends and usage patterns so as to improve the Service. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information on our behalf, although Google may know who you are for their own purposes. Google Analytics uses only first-party cookies for data analysis.   • Stripe – The Neuron uses Stripe Cookies for purposes of integration into Stripe’s billing and payment services. The Neuron does not collect any credit card or personal financial information from you. Rather, all such information is provided directly to Stripe, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy, which may be viewed at https://stripe.com/us/privacy.   • HyperPay - The Neuron uses HyperPay Cookies for purposes of integration into HyperPay’s billing and payment services. The Neuron does not collect any credit card or personal financial information from you. The Neuron uses HyperPay for users located in Jordan.
  • Facebook Pixel – This cookie is placed by Facebook. It enables The Neuron to measure, optimize and build audiences for advertising campaigns served on Facebook. In particular, it enables The Neuron to see how our users move between devices when accessing the Website and Facebook, to ensure that The Neuron’s Facebook advertising is seen by our users most likely to be interested in such advertising by analyzing which content a user has viewed and interacted with on the Website.
  • LinkedIn Tag – The Neuron uses LinkedIn Tag to help us log where our users come from to know how we can better tailor our messaging on this channel to suit our visitor needs. Read more about LinkedIn Cookies.
  • Google Tag Manager – The Neuron uses the Google Tag Manager to implement both a Google Analytics pixel and a Facebook pixel. Both of these pixels collect anonymized data which allows us to better understand what you love on The Neuron and help you find more of that information.
  • HubSpot – The Neuron uses HubSpot cookies to track how long users are on the Service and what pages users visit and interact with in order for us to improve our Service, to help grow traffic, convert more visitors to our Website, and run complete inbound marketing campaigns at scale.
  • Salesforce – The Neuron use Salesforce cookies to provide customer relationship management services.
  • Drift – The Neuron uses Drift cookies on its Website to help it engage in real-time, personalized conversations with its users.
  • Userpilot – The Neuron uses Userpilot on its Platform to help improve the onboarding experience for its users.

Other Anonymous Data We Collect.

When you use and visit the Service, we may also use third-party services, such as Google Analytics Stripe, and Hyperpay, all of which use cookies to collect generic, anonymous information that does not identify you (see above for more information). We use this information to better understand how users interact with the Service and to improve your user experience while using the Service.

Do Not Track Signals.

We do not track you or collect your information across third party websites or online services. Thus, we do not receive Do-Not-Track signals, or other similar signals. To the extent that we do receive any such signals, we will not comply with them as it is not an aspect of the functionality of our Service.

How we share your information

We do not sell or share your personally identifiable information with advertisers. We also do not share your personally identifiable information with other third parties except to the extent that it is in furtherance of the Service, or when you choose to do so (as described below).

Our Personnel And Vendors.

To be able to effectively provide you with the Service, and to improve the functionality of the Service, we may disclose your information to our employees, contractors, agents, vendors, and other similar persons or entities, to the extent that such persons or entities have a need to know such information in furtherance of the Service. Our third-party vendors (“Third-Party Vendors”) provide us with various types of services, including without limitation, hosting services and marketing software services. We may share your Personal Data with our Third-Party Vendors.

Third Party Payment Services.

We may share your personal information with our Third-Party Payment Processor to allow you to purchase Products through the Service. However, as described above, we do not collect or store any credit card or any of your personal financial information. All such personal financial information, including credit card numbers, will be collected and stored by our Third-Party Payment Processor (currently, Stripe). All purchases made through the Service are subject to the applicable Third-Party Payment Processor’s privacy policy, and by placing an order through the Service, you agree to be bound by such policies.

Sale of Company or Assets.

In the event that we sell all or substantially all of our company or its assets, including the user information collected through our Service, we may transfer your information, upon reasonable notice to you, to the acquiring company.

Other Third Parties.

In addition to our practices described above, we may share your information if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to ➀ Comply with the law (see the section below on “Government Requests”), ➁ Protect and defend the rights or property of The Neuron, or ➂ Prevent an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury to any person. We will only share your Personal Data for the foregoing reasons to the extent permitted by GDPR, the SCCs (as defined below), or other applicable law.

Storing your information

Storage and Retention Of Your Information.

We will store your Personal Data for as long as it is needed to provide the Service, however, we may not know if you have stopped using the Service so we encourage you to contact us at the email listed below if you are no longer using the Service. However, if required by applicable law, we may retain your Personal Data for such period as may be required by such law. To continue to provide an effective service, we may store non-Personal Data perpetually and may anonymize and aggregate any Personal Data and store that anonymized information perpetually, and otherwise use and disclose such de-identified, anonymized and aggregated information subject to restrictions under applicable law and regulations. Additionally, as described in this Policy, we use third parties to provide the Service and do not have full control over their practices related to storage and retention of your Personal Data. However, we will work with such third parties to delete or modify your Personal Data to the extent required by GDPR, the SCCs, or other applicable law. Security.

We use reasonable efforts to secure your information and to attempt to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you. For example, we will require our personnel to sign confidentiality agreements that extend to your personal information; we train our personnel on privacy issues; we will have personnel to monitor privacy issues; we restrict access to your personal information to individuals within and outside of The Neuron who need access to such information to provide the Service; and we use encryption technology to secure data at rest and in transmission. In addition, we rely on the technical safeguards provided by the third-party vendors we use to host, store, and process your information. However, you acknowledge and agree that loss, misuse, and alteration may occur despite our efforts to protect your information. We are not responsible to our users or to any third party due to any such loss, misuse, or alteration,except to the extent required by GDPR, the SCCs, or other applicable law.

EUROPEAN USERS

You can change some of your Personal Data through the account settings provided on the Service. In addition, if you wish to access, receive a copy of, change or delete the Personal Data we hold about you, you may contact us as described at the end of this Policy.

The legal grounds for our processing of your Personal Data are:
  • first and foremost, you provided your consent by agreeing to this Policy, which you may withdraw at any time by emailing us at hello@theneuron.com;
  • it is necessary for our contractual relationship;
  • it is necessary for us to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations; and/or
  • the processing is in our legitimate interest as a provider of the Service. Such interests include the protection of the security and integrity of our systems, our direct marketing (which you can opt out of) and providing you with customer service and the core functionality of the Service.
You may withdraw the consent granted in this Policy for us to use the Personal Data described in this Policy by contacting us as described at the end of this Policy. Please note that if you do so, it will not affect the lawfulness of the use of your Personal Data based on your prior consent. In addition, you may contact us as described at the end of this Policy to request that we do not disclose your Personal Data to third parties (other than those that are acting as our agent to perform tasks on our behalf, such as data processors) or to request that your Personal Data not be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purposes for which it was originally collected or for purposes subsequently authorized by you. If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial emails from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by contacting us as described at the end of this Policy.Please be aware that if you opt-out of receiving commercial email from us or otherwise modify the nature or frequency of promotional communications you receive from us, even after you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you may continue to receive administrative messages from us regarding the Service. Upon receipt of any of the above request(s), we will use reasonable efforts to reflect any changes you request in our databases to the full extent required by GDPR, the SCCs, or other applicable law. If you are not happy with how we have attempted to resolve your complaint, you may contact the relevant data protection authority. The Service is hosted outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland. If you are using the Service from the EEA and Switzerland, please note that you are transferring your Personal Data outside of those regions for storage and processing. By providing any information, including Personal Data, on or to the Service, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing. Information collected in the EEA may be transferred, stored and processed by us or third parties (as provided in this Policy) in other countries, including the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may be different than the laws of your country. From time to time, we may receive requests from government agencies to obtain information about our users. In handling such government requests, we greatly value the privacy of your information.
